The Program: Many libraries are trying to make it easier for users to find resources with simple search boxes that send queries to a database containing the libraries’ holdings–and resources beyond–by using discovery services. Each speaker will talk about 15 minutes, beginning with a discussion of discovery tools in general, and then describing their experiences with these tools, with a question and answer period following.

From the NJ Turnpike: Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 7A (I-195 West). Follow I-195 West to Exit 60-B for I-295 North toward Princeton. I-295 will become I-95 South. Take Exit 7-A off of I-95 to US Route 206 South (Trenton). Rider is a quarter mile on the right.

From Route 1 South: Take the exit for Interstate 95 South (sign says “To Pennsylvania”). Bear right at junction, following signs for I-95 South (Pennsylvania). Take Exit 7A off of I-95 to US Route 206 South (Trenton). Rider is a quarter mile on the right.

From South Jersey: From the Garden State Parkway: take Exit 98 (I-195 West). Follow I-195 West to Exit 60-B for I-295 North toward Princeton. I-295 will become I-95 South. Take Exit 7A off of I-95 to US Route 206 South (Trenton). Rider is a quarter mile on the right.

From I-295 North: I-295 North, straight over the Delaware River into New Jersey. Take Exit 7-A off of I-95 to US Route 206 South (Trenton). Rider is a quarter mile on the right.

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to the main Philadelphia Exit 351 and follow the signs to I-95 North. Continue on I-95 North, straight over the Delaware River into New Jersey. Take Exit 7-A off of I-95 to US Route 206 South (Trenton). Rider is a quarter mile on the right.

Parking is available directly behind the Daly Dining Hall and can be accessed by driving around the campus mall to the street between the Alumni Gymnasium [#3] and Daly Dining Hall [#4]. The entrance to the Mercer Room is the door facing the Alumni Gymnasium [#3]. Signs to the Mercer Room will be posted by this door.

The Princeton Public Library is located at 65 Witherspoon St., at the corner of Witherspoon and Wiggins Streets, in Princeton Borough. Link to Google Map: Princeton Public Library

Parking:
Library parking is available in the Municipal Garage at Spring Street located adjacent to the library. Drivers may enter the lot from Spring Street or through the library access driveway (Sylvia Beach Way) off Wiggins Street. Library card holders can have their tickets validated for up to 2-hours of free parking when they visit the library. Other visitors receive 30 minutes of free parking if they use the Municipal Garage at Spring Street. Public Transportation:
The library is also accessible via public transportation. By rail take the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line to Princeton Junction and transfer to the Princeton Local (a.k.a. “The Dinky”). NJ Transit Bus Services 605 and 606 and the freeB Jitney provide regular service between Princeton Borough and Princeton Township.
